It's a chilly four degrees outside in Milan but, for what seems like the first time in a while, the fog has cleared giving us a beautiful view of the city's architecture. And it's precisely that we're about to see plenty of as we dash across to another catwalk showing. Like much of the menswear hitting the runway at this week's Milan fashion week, D&G's offering kept to the relaxed side. Infused with a fun sense of retro-kitsch (like knits emblazoned with classic 'Drink Coca-Cola' slogans, or Mickey Mouse cartoons), colour and print played a starring role.
The new men's semi-slouchy pant cut that's taking autumn / fall 2011 by storm made more appearences at D&G, this time in both suit pants and casual corduoroys; a relaxed contrast to the slick 50s style cardigans, ties and blazers.
